Yuan Guan Precision has in-house capabilities and equipment for metal stamping die development.
The die establishes the foundation for stamped-part quality and cost. A sound die design supports stable production and improved yield, so we begin with a drawing review and address manufacturability before die manufacturing starts.
Development Process
- Drawing review and quotation: We review part formability, material utilization, and the proposed die structure, then provide manufacturing feedback and a quotation.
- Die design: The die structure is designed according to the part’s precision and production-volume requirements.
- Die manufacturing: Die components are machined and assembled.
- Die trial and samples: Trial parts are produced and submitted for customer confirmation of dimensions, appearance, and function.
- Die adjustment and production handoff: The die is fine-tuned based on the approved results, then transferred directly to in-house stamping production.
Benefits of One Source for Dies and Production
- Continuous accountability: Yuan Guan is responsible for both the die and stamped-part production, enabling a prompt response to maintenance or die adjustments during production.
- Clear cost evaluation: Tooling charges and production unit pricing are quoted clearly so purchasing teams can evaluate the total cost.
- Development experience: Since 2004, we have developed stamping dies for bicycle, automotive, motorcycle, sports-equipment, and hardware components.
